Blaine’s heart sank when Kurt said those words. He didn’t want to leave. He didn’t want to leave Kurt like this, even if it was just for a little while. He bit his lip and looked down, squeezing Kurt’s hand. He had said that he would leave if Kurt asked him to, if he refused to go, he would be a hypocrite. But he just didn’t know if he could. “Kurt…” Blaine started softly, looking back at him, before sighing and nodding. He knew Kurt would be safe if he left for a while. Of course, he doubted he would actually be able to get any sleep. “I’ll go, because you asked me to. But.. I’ll be back later, okay?” he asked, catching Kurt’s gaze and holding it.
Kurt found Blaine’s eyes, his heart skipping a beat at the look in them. His own emotions rushed forward hitting him hard, making his heart go way too fast for normal speed. He could actually hear it on the monitor, but it didn’t distract him as he looked into those hazel eyes that scared him more than anything else in the world. He nodded, gulping. “O-Okay.” He squeezed Blaine’s hand, their eyes never looking away. He realized then how many feelings he had for this boy that he’d met yesterday, and he realized how much he ached for Blaine to hold him, but he shied away from those feelings, because he didn’t want to feel things that strong when he didn’t know anything about his past. Then he licked his lips. “You… you can kiss me goodbye… if you want.” He whispered, part of him wanting Blaine to accept the offer, part of him wanting him to decline it. He didn’t want to feel these things, sure, but he wanted Blaine to be happy, and yes, it was a little bit of a selfish request.
Blaine stared into Kurt’s eyes for another moment, before leaning in and pressing his lips to Kurt’s softly, closing his eyes and savoring the feeling. He didn’t know when he’d get to kiss Kurt again, so every one counted. Blaine pulled back after a moment and sighed again, before reaching into his pocket and taking out his phone. He placed it in Kurt’s hands. “If you need me for anything, Kurt… I’m a phone call away. The number is in there as ‘Kurt’s House.’ That’s where I’ll be, because your parents have so graciously offered to let me stay with them. Just… Let me know if you need me, I’ll be here so quick…” He trailed off and bit his lip, before standing up and pressing a kiss to Kurt’s forehead.
“We’ve been together for about a year now. The greatest year of my life…” Blaine said, biting his lip. “And you’re right… It’s why I won’t leave. I don’t plan on leaving, Kurt… Unless you ask me to. You are everything to me… And I’m going to help you through all of this, unless you don’t want me to.” He sighed slightly and smiled a small smile. “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner.”
“Holy shit.” Kurt breathed, staring at Blaine. “I’ve had someone like you for a year?” He looked down, gathering his thoughts. He looked up at Blaine with tears in his eyes. “I can’t remember, Blaine. I want to. But it hurts so bad to remember… God do I want to remember… But I-I… I don’t remember you.” Tears fell down his face now, shaking a little. his memory, old Kurt, fought with everything he had to get out now… he needed to be with Blaine. it was a reflexive need, his body ached to be with him… it was a physical, emotional, and mental need to have Blaine there beside him. And he was alone in his mind, no dream!Blaine to hold him… and new Kurt didn’t even know who he was. “B-Blaine… go home and sleep… okay? I… I need time to think… I… I’m sorry.”
Of course, he doubted he would actually be able to get any sleep. “I’ll go, because you asked me to. But.. I’ll be back later, okay?” he asked, catching Kurt’s gaze and holding it.
Blaine reached over and took Kurt’s hand gently between both of his. “I know, this is confusing and probably scary.. But we’re together. Before the crash, we… We spent some time together after having been apart for a few days. You wanted to get your car because sometimes you drive home on the weekends to spend time with your family. We’ve been together for a long time now…” he explained, hoping he wasn’t scaring Kurt anymore than he thought he already had.
Kurt thought about it. He believed Blaine, trusted him for some unknown reason, but he still didn’t recall this time they’d been together. “I… oh.” He said, biting his lip, looking up at Blaine. “So that’s why you wont leave.” He tried to laugh, but it was kind of choked out. “I… How long?”
Blaine moved closer, putting his other hand on the back of Kurt’s neck gently, deepening the kiss. He sighed into the embrace, sliding his tongue along Kurt’s, missing the feeling, the taste. Missing all that was Kurt. Blaine reluctantly pulled back after a few minutes though, needing to breath and also feeling like he should explain himself. “So um… I’m assuming you figured out we’re a bit more than just friends…” he whispered, looking into Kurt’s eyes.
Kurt looked up at him, the glaze in his eyes starting to fade into comprehension. His mouth fell slack, and he brought his fingers to his lips, just touching them. “I… But…” His brow furrowed in confusion, trying to get his thoughts together. “Wha… I just… huh?” He said, looking up at Blaine, wishing that tingling in his lips would go away. He just made out for the first time ever with a guy he barely knew and he was barely even conscious for it, and he wanted more. He was beyond confused.
Blaine laughed softly. He knew what was happening. Kurt, despite not remembering anything, was still himself, considering he was back in Blaine-kiss dreamland. Blaine licked his lips and got up again, before pressing his lips back to Kurt’s and closing his eyes. One of his hands moved up to cup Kurt’s cheek.
Kurt sighed against Blaine’s lips, letting him take over and falling even further onto cloud nine that took him far away from reality. “Mm. More.” He mumbled on Blaine’s lips, wanting him closer. Wanting his Dream Blaine in every way like he always did. His eyes fluttered, trying to deepen the kiss, whimpering at the taste of Blaines tongue.

A smile spread across Blaine’s face and he laughed softly. “Thanks…” he said with a blush. He sat back down and had a moment very reminiscent of the first time he had kissed Kurt. “So, um… I’m sorry about that, I just… I couldn’t help myself. I’ve needed that, so I guess I was a little selfish just then, but… I’m sorry.” Blaine looked back over at his boyfriend. “I shouldn’t have done that, but I’m glad you aren’t freaking out.”
“Hmm?” Kurt said, still smiling and giggling. “Why would I freak out silly? Youuuuu should come over and do it again.” It was official. Kurt Hummel was drunk off what he knew as his first kiss with Blaine. And it was very much like that first kiss, Kurt in lala land, his brain literally turned off, his mouth spewing random nothings and giggles.
Blaine stared at Kurt as he threw all those questions at him. His brain was working over time, trying to think up suitable responses for each question, while getting lost looking at Kurt. He was so adorable… So very confused and just… Beautiful. Before Blaine knew it, he got up, leaned over and pushed his lips to Kurt’s softly for just a moment. But when he realized what he was doing, he pulled back quickly, his eyes wide. Great, he had probably just ruined everything.
Kurt gasped in response, his brain shutting off, the Kurt with his memory surging forward, pain racking him a little, but not enough to keep him from kissing Blaine back, the memory!Kurt falling back against the corner with a thud, crying again. He was cold. His lips tingled with a kiss, and he wanted to feel it for real. But Kurt kissed back, his whole thought process stopping short. When Blaine pulled back, he smiled dreamily, swaying a little. “Mmm. You taste gooddd.” He said breathily, his eyes still closed.
Blaine laughed softly and nodded, putting down the washcloth on the tray by the bed. Then he went and sat back down beside Kurt, purposely keeping his eyes from Kurt’s crotch. He cocked his head to the side slightly and ran his hand through his hair. “I didn’t? Hmm… Well, I will now. What didn’t I answer?” he asked, worrying his bottom lip between his teeth. He was nervous about what Kurt could ask him.
Kurt looked at him, skeptical, and then nodded. “What were we doing before I went home to get my car? Why did I have to get my car? How did we meet? Why are they keeping you here? Why does my dad say I know you very well even though I don’t feel that way because I don’t remember you? What was the last thing I said to you? To my parents? Why are you so okay with how absolutely awkward I am with all…” He coughed, looking down. “This.”

He was so adorable… So very confused and just… Beautiful. Before Blaine knew it, he got up, leaned over and pushed his lips to Kurt’s softly for just a moment. Blaine bit his lip and nodded. Kurt had a point. “No, no it’s fine, Kurt, I swear. I’m just weighing the options here…” Blaine said, tapping his chin. ”I could leave and you could take care of that yourself.. I can tell you what you’re supposed to do if you don’t remember…” he suggested. “And then I can get a nurse or you could clean yourself off or something…”
Kurt laughed. “I can’t even pee by myself, Blaine. Trust me when I say I’ll just have to ignore this all until they bathe me.” He rolled his eyes a little. “I pulled something in my neck and shoulder apparently too, so that’s fun.” He tapped the bed, willing his hard on to go away so he wouldn’t have to hear Blaine tell him how to get rid of it. “You didn’t answer all my questions yesterday before I fell asleep.”
“There’s not…” Blaine said softly, before going back over to the cupboard and getting a washcloth. He wet it in the sink and wrung it out, before going back over to Kurt, blushing. “You want to, uh… clean yourself off? I mean… I can understand where you wouldn’t want me doing that, or I could get a nurse…” Blaine scratched the back of his neck with his free hand.
Kurt looked between his erection and the washcloth. “W-Wouldnt it hurt? I mean… it’s sensitive…” He said, feeling stupid for asking, just wanting to ignore it, but knowing if he did then all that would happen is what happened last night and it would just repeat. He didn’t even know what his name was yesterday, and now he was constantly hard over some guy he didn’t know? And he didn’t even understand how all that worked, anyway. Even if he made Blaine leave so he could take care of it, he wasn’t sure he knew how. “S-Sorry for making this so awkward… I make everything awkward. It’s not fair to you.”
